After last year’s great success with the Red Shoe Competition, ALFA proudly presents:
ALFA, the association of literature and film friends in the Algarve, is running its second multimedia Competition .
The theme is ´Black Bra´.It can be a painting, photo, sculpture, song, or any other medium.
The entry must be your own work.
Its title must not only be ´black bra´ as the entries need to be distinguishable.
The entries will be exhibited in an interactive exhibition in the Convento S. José thus every visitor votes for his/her favourite item.
The entry with most votes wins: The ALFI*
*ALFI is ALFA’s mascot, a reading rat, designed in Raku ceramic technique by German artist Christa Widmann. In other competitions you can win an Oscar or a globe – here you can win an Alfi.
The best entries will be published in a book.
Competition Rules
Your entry should be on CD in JPG.format.
Together with the following information:
Name and address of the author/s, Title of the Work, Date of Birth,
permission to publish the work.
Please enclose 5 Euros
Closing date is 31 May 2007.
1. Participants are reminded that there is no promise to publish their work.
2. Participants must ensure that they are the sole copyright owners of thesubmitted work and that no third party rights are violated.
3. Participants authorize ALFA to publish their work without violation of any rights.
The prize ceremony will take place on ALFA´s second birthday – 10. September 2007.
