Highlight of the 13th edition of the English literary salon was Paul McKay who gave his first reading and entertained the audience better than a lot of more experienced authors. Listening to his lesbian pigs called Camilla and Charlie and his brave attempts in the delicate field of artificial insemination had the audience in stitches. No wonder that his book “A year in Monchique” sold more copies than any other ALFA-presented book. Well done Paul!
