What does a professor of economics do on the ALFA stage?
He spellbinds a pleasantly increased audience by giving a knowledgeable, informative lecture thus enriching both economic wiz kids as well as amateurs.

After a smatter of intricate questioning that could have gone on for hours, the professor fled the field.
A splendid performance – Brian Snowdon’s first but hopefully not last in Lagoa.

Thanks to Carolyn Kain, the event was well publicised in Good Life and Euroweekly, reaching an audience that had never heard of ALFA.
The second part held a light hearted round up by Dianne Colebatch and Barbara Fellgiebel.

The next ALFA event is the inauguration of the Multi-media-exhibition BLUE GARDEN on Monday, 11th of August at 6 pm in the Convento (sala polivalente).
The 6th ALFA-literature salon will be held by Jenny Grainer on Monday, the 1st of September at 7.30 pm in the Convento. Guests: Dr. Janice Russell and Lisa Selvidge
