I know that some of you adore christmas concerts but find it difficult to know where and when they take place.
Let me point out two with the Portimao choir Adagio (incl. yours truely:)

you missed
Janice Russell presenting and reading from her latest book ROUGH DIAMONDS?
well, shame on you. You missed a true ALFA-effect: Listening to Janice’s brilliant presentation EVERYONE had to buy her book, to find out what happened to Dawn and her pidgeon loving hubby.
And then Octávio dos Santos who presented his recently published book – Poemas -
a translation into Portuguese of a number of Alfred Lord Tennyson’s verses.
Simply beautiful.
Both books can still be purchased from ALFA – the wonderful presentations cannot.

as well? Another shame on you – high class performances

Sir Simon Rattle and the Berlin Philharmonics practice while Royston Maldoom teaches 250 children from all sorts of background how to dance to Strawinskys !Le Scare du Printemps”. In the end, the performance is a roaring success.
