If you master the Portuguese language enough to follow subtitles, come along tonight to the Auitório Municipal in Lagoa where we show the film DIE WEISSE ROSE with German spoken and Portuguese subtitles. It is the remarkable story of German students in Munich, giving their lives in order to make people aware of the horrendous Hitler regime.
The film starts at 7.30 pm, free of charge (donations welcome) the bar opens at 6.45 h.
Monday the 1st of March, we have the great pleasure to listen to the dutch bestselling novelist Heleen Van Royen. Her books are read by Millions, translated into 20 odd languages, made into films and theatre.
Come along and meet a real superstar writer.
